Warm spaces open as polar blast strikes

First published 7th December 2022

Wishing there was somewhere warm and friendly to go during the week? Wanting to enjoy a hot meal in good company? Like to find a warm place to work?

A new Warm Spaces Café has started in Downend every Thursday at Christ Church.

Open from 11 until 2.30, with soup, a roll and cake will be served from 12pm.

Whether good company, a warm building or a hot meal is what you most need, you’re welcome to come along.

Once a month there’ll be live music from the Music Train. There’s free wi-fi for those who want to work; toys; accessible facilities for those with disabilities.

The refreshments are free but donations are welcome from those who are able.
