Step into a nine‑day pilgrimage from the 15th - 23rd May 2026, for an adventure of prayer, story, and hope. Kingdom Seeds in Local Soils coincides with Thy Kingdom Come and is part of our Bristol diocesan Rhythm of Life. It's a call to pray that the seeds of God’s kingdom may be sown in every corner of our diocese. You can join us for as much, or little, of the journey as you are able - even if that's simply saying hello as we pass through!

At two services in June, churchwardens from across the Diocese celebrated and affirmed their ministry as they formally took up their offices for another year at this years Archdeacons Visitations.

Five new headteachers welcomed to Diocese in Cathedral service

On Tuesday, 26 June, Bishop Neil and the Diocesan education team gathered at Bristol Cathedral to celebrate the induction and commissioning of five new headteachers who will serve in Church of England schools across the Diocese.

Bishop Neil meets new Lord Mayor of Bristol

25th June 2026

On Wednesday, 17 June, Bishop Neil met with the new Lord Mayor of Bristol, Yassin Mohamud. The meeting took place at the Tawfiq Mosque and was also attended by some members of the Mosque’s congregation.
