Transforming Church. Together.

We believe that the local church – the parish and new forms of church - is the genius of the Church of England. In the local, Christ’s love is offered to the reality of each place and every person. We long to see flourishing churches, which are representative of their communities, and where people are led by the Holy Spirit in growing the Kingdom of God. We pray for renewal and transformation of ourselves, our churches, and our society.

This Advent, open the door to lay ministry

Across the Diocese of Bristol, Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) are making a profound impact; leading worship, offering pastoral care, and sharing the love of Christ in schools, workplaces, and communities. They are volunteers, yet their contribution is invaluable.

We will be sharing a story of a different LLM every day of Advent in our digital calendar.
