Praying for those to be ordained - Sharon's Story
Sharon Gleed will be ordained as a Deacon on Sunday 3rd July and will be Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Gauzebrook and North Wiltshire Mission Area.
Please read Sharon’s story below:
“Great is thy faithfulness.
“I’ve known God’s presence throughout the changing seasons of my life. I’d like to thank Revd. Lizzie Kesteven for encouraging me to explore a calling to ordination, which led to leaving teaching to undertake full time training at Sarum College, Salisbury.
“I wish to express my love and gratitude to my family and friends for your enduring support and encouragement. Thanks too for my church family who have nurtured me - St Michael’s and Angels, Middlesex where my journey of faith began, All Saints Middlesex and St Mary’s Fishponds.
“I’d also like to thank my supervisors and the communities of All Saints Fishponds, Hazelnut Community Farm and the Benefice of Warmley, Bitton and Siston who have supported me in my training. I’m excited to begin the next stage of my journey as I serve my curacy in Gauzebrook, North Wiltshire, reassured God is with me as I step forward in faith and begin my ministry.”
Look out for all the photographs from the ordination services next week!
