Find out more about our new curacy opportunity with the Woodbridge Group of Churches Now!
Do you feel called to rural ministry?
No? Neither did I, but 12 years on after a curacy and then an incumbency in two different multi-parish benefices in Wiltshire I’m still here and looking for somebody else who probably feels like I did…
The Woodbridge Group is 6 village parishes in a relatively affluent area of North Wiltshire, between Malmesbury and Swindon. We are part of the North Wiltshire Mission Area, 31 parishes under 6 incumbents working ever closer together in a Strategic Funding experiment.
Together we are learning how to make better use of our different interests and skills across the normal benefice boundaries and we’ve just embarked on a 3 year investment in Youth Workers which we’re all really excited about.
Please read the attached curacy profile for full details.
On Twitter you can see a bit more: @woodbridgevicar #lovedoingweddings
We can probably arrange a tractor ride for the successful candidate too, if that helps tempt you.
