On Tuesday 1 March at 6pm, churches across Bristol Diocese will be responding to the archbishops’ invitation to pray with the Diocese in Europe for peace in Ukraine, following Russia’s invasion on 24 February.
You can join online here.
Churches and organisations across Europe will be praying for the chaplaincy in Kyiv and the churches that serve Ukraine.
The prayers will be led by Bishop Robert Innes, with Revd Canon Malcolm Rogers, Chaplain of St Andrew’s, Moscow and Area Dean of Russia and Ukraine, and Representatives of Christ Church, Kyiv.
Many churches and charities across the Diocese of Bristol are raising money for Ukraine, including the Transform Europe Network (TEN), a Christian charity in Bradley Stoke who work with Christian partners in Eastern Europe to provide food and shelter to refugees.
Other charities with appeals for Ukraine include UNHCR, Save The Children, Red Cross, With Ukraine, Samaritan's Purse, Disasters Emergency Committee and World Vision.
