Everyday Faith. Together will take place on 11th May 2024, at Pattern Church, Swindon. The event will explore how churches can equip people to live as disciples making connections between our faith and every day life.

Keynote Speaker: Steve Rouse from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.

‘Everyday Faith is about where and how we encounter God as we go about our lives. Where is God during our daily lives? How do we find God in the fullness of everyday life?’ (CofE)

In January we were inspired by different pathways and examples from across the diocese. Christopher Jamison encouraged us to foster a language of grace in the ways we relate with others.

One participant said how encouraged they were to see so many people wanting to grow in faith and to help others on their journeys with Christ.

On May 11th we will share stories from Christians from all corners of the diocese about how God is at work in their everyday lives – at home and at work. Steve Rouse from the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity will help us to discern together why and how we can grow in confidence as we live out our faith and ways that our churches can support us.

Do join us for this opportunity to learn together and from each other about ways we can continue to grow every day in Christ, encouraging each other along the way.

‘I came away from the event feeling motivated and inspired. We are now planning what we can do with the knowledge that we have gained.’ LS, Coalpit Heath

‘Excellent timekeeping, inspiring stories of God on the move, great speaker, inspiring workshop. I had not expected it to be so inspiring about what can happen wherever we are.’ HM, Hullavington

So mark your calendars now, and join us as we embark on this journey of faith and friendship, living out Transforming Church. Together.

Note: This event both stands alone, but is also part of a series throughout the year focusing on helping us to develop new and more effective discipleship pathways within our churches.
