Art in Church: Mission, theology and the beauty of God
Wednesday evenings in June and July 2022 from 7.00-8.30 pm
Everyone is welcome to take part in a series of evening art sessions which are taking place on several Wednesdays in June and July.
In this series, you will look at a range of artwork in churches across the diocese and will spend some time looking at the art; and thinking about what it has to say for the mission of the church and how we speak of God.
Sessions will include time to look at the artwork; reflections on its artistic, historical, and theological significance; and a short time of prayer with the art.
