There will be three services across the diocese and both Bishops will attend each service. We hope many of you will come to hear their words of encouragement and wisdom as another cohort of churchwardens take up office.
The theme of our services this year will focus on our key diocesan priorities - growing leaders, making disciples and engaging younger generations.
Details of the services are as follows:

Malmesbury Abbey, Malmesbury |
8 May 2017 |

Each service will be followed by light refreshments.
Please note:
In a change to the previously published schedule, we will be using St Michaels Centre in Stoke Gifford rather than Bristol Cathedral for the service on 10 May.
The service at Stoke Gifford will be signed by our Chaplain to the Deaf Community, Rev Canon Gill Behenna.
The legal admittance of churchwardens to office for the coming year forms a key part of the Visitation service so it is particularly important that those who are elected at the Annual Parochial Church meetings make every effort to attend a service.
We also hope that churchwardens who are standing down from office this year will want to attend to reflect and give thanks on all that has been achieved during their period of service. Clergy and those who support churchwardens in their work in the parishes are also encouraged to attend.
