This September, the Bristol Mothers Union (MU) is inviting members of the Diocese of Bristol to join them in three days of prayer. During this time, all MU members in the UK and link dioceses will be praying for the Diocese of Bristol.
Between 7 - 9 September, you are invited to join the Wave of Prayer either on your own or in groups, on Zoom or in a safe outside location like a garden. MU have created a service and some resources to help you pray.
Aurea Hart, Diocesan President of Mothers Union Bristol, said, “As we come to the three days in September when we know we are being prayed for around the world, we realise how important prayer is and how it supports us in what we do. The Wave of Prayer is used by the 4 million members in 84 countries so these prayers are encircling the globe.”
"Wave of Prayer" is a national MU initiate that happens throughout the year. Prayers are said at noon Monday to Saturday, to create a continuous expression of our commitment in prayer to each other.
