Toddler groups are among the most exciting and significant starting places for mission for both adults and children.
It is estimated that between a third and a half of all children in this country, aged under three, regularly attend a church-run toddler group.
In 2016, Church of England research identified some key questions and points of learning to help toddler groups become an effective part of the mission of the church.
This new booklet explores those themes, considering how they can impact and transform individual lives, families and the entire community. It looks at:
- Missional opportunities
- Christian distinctiveness
- Positioning within the church
- Support
- Nurturing faith journeys
