An exciting Intercultural worship workshop takes place this weekend.
The leading worship band Resonance will be leading the sessions at the workshop organised by Bristol diocese.
“It’s a chance for anyone to explore the opportunities and rationale for intercultural worship and be inspired by some worldwide worship music,” says the Revd Anjali Kanagaratnam, one of the event’s organisers.
“Learn new worship songs from different cultures, explore different way of worshipping God and enable all cultures in your church to praise God using their ‘heart music,” says Anjali.
The free afternoon takes place at the Pattern Church, in Swindon this Saturday starting at 2pm.
The diocese held a similar event at Bristol Cathedral last year. Feedback included the remark, “We had such a wonderful time. Wouldn’t it be great to worship like that every week! So much to think and pray about.”
And if you play an instrument please do bring it along.
