Ugandan Dean visits City Deanery

First published 2nd October 2013
The Very Reverend Kezlon Semanda, the Dean of St John's Cathedral, Kasaka, Central Buganda is in the Diocese of Bristol for the first week of October, 2013.

During his stay in the Deanery he is meeting with, among others, the Area Dean, Mat Ineson and the Deanery link committee. He will also visit Bishopston, Cotham, the Cathedral, Trinity College and the Diocesan Office. We are hoping that his visit will inspire many in the Deanery by helping them to understand the positive benefits of our links.

On October 1st Kezlon was a guest at the Diocesan Office monthly staff meeting, where he shared some of his experiences of life in Uganda and answered questions about the Church in Uganda. His gracious, friendly manner made a lasting impression and it was lovely to see the link 'incarnated' in the office.

Later this month the City Deanery Link Chairperson, Keren Lewis will be visiting the Dioceses of Central Buganda and West Buganda for detailed discussions on how we can build the link in new and mutually beneficial ways.
