There she met with some brilliant young people who showed her their Holy Week inspired art.

One such young person was 13 year old Stanley Saunders from Broad Blunsdon who has created over 70 comic strips based on various themes and books throughout the Bible.

Stanley spoke with us about the inspiraiton behind his work, he said "I was brought up in a Christian home, and I was baptised in October 2020, just 2 months before I first began to create my first comic strip, 'The gospels'."

"I really enjoy creating my comic strips, as they can connect my love for art and for the Bible. My comics are inspired by the "read scripture" series created by the Bible Project. I hope that every one of my comics, from "Parables of Jesus" to "Here! Gone! Back!" (The Easter Story), has helped me to understand who Jesus is."
