Thy Kingdom Come: The story so far...

FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS BETWEEN ASCENSION AND PENTECOST, MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS ACROSS THE WORLD HAVE UNITED IN PRAYER FOR OTHERS TO COME TO FAITH IN CHRIST. THIS MOVEMENT IS CALLED THY KINGDOM COME.

114 countries
65 denominations

The 2018 survey found:
91% of people prayed for friends and family members to know Jesus.
75% felt motivated to pray more often.
42% felt more motivated to talk to people about Jesus.

Similarly, families felt closer to God, felt motivated to pray more together and were more motivated to talk to people about Jesus.

Millions of people experienced Thy Kingdom Come events where the Archbishop of Canterbury preached, broadcast on Facebook, YouTube, BBC1 and Radio4.

Thy Kingdom Come invited us to pray for five people. I asked God who I should pray for… and sure enough, lots of people came to mind but five particular people stood out in my prayers. I have been praying for these five people for the last year. I asked God to help me to be a witness to His life in all its fullness in Jesus Christ. Two of them have come to faith in God through Jesus Christ! They came to the beacon celebration and I rejoiced with them. Life is transformed and so rich and deep! Im praying for the other three and have added two more so Im still praying for five people. Who should you pray for? Start praying! Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu
