The 2023 Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC) Awards evening took place on 10 May at St Michael’s, Highworth.
Each year the DAC recognises a number of projects, via its awards scheme. The DAC works closely with parishes in caring for their buildings and adapting them to support their mission and growth. In doing so it encounters many people working with incredible commitment and passion, often with significant obstacles to be overcome.
The DAC recognises the achievement of each and every parish, celebrating every case where work is subsequently undertaken and completed, especially where the project allows the parish to focus on its mission, and bring more people to faith in Christ.
The 2023 Awards
This year parishes received awards due to their outstanding efforts to improve the care, maintenance and development of their church buildings.
The awards celebrate their innovative approach to transforming their worship spaces, and for all their hard work, completing projects to an exceptional standard of workmanship, whilst improving their growth and mission.
