This Advent, we're celebrating the work of our wonderful LLMs (Licensed Lay Ministers). We want to highlight the work that these volunteers do throughout the year; leading worship, offering pastoral care, and bringing the love of Christ into our schools, workplaces, and communities. Their ministry is vital - and growing!
It costs the Diocese around £5,000 to train each new LLM, and £253 a year to sustain their ministry. These costs are currently met through Diocesan reserves and fundraised income, and this Advent we are inviting our wider church family to help us continue this investment in the future of ministry.
