More than 70 people attended the fun-filled activity day held at St Michael’s Centre last week on Thursday 21 July.
Attendees took part in various activities throughout the day, including crafts, storytelling, indoor bowls and more. There was also a sumptuous lunch and afternoon tea.
St Michael’s Church in Stoke Gifford has a thriving ministry for the older generation, under the banner of “Over 65’s”, which includes regular Sunday lunches and afternoon teas.
Julie Hobbs, Licensed Lay Minister at St Michael’s who was involved in the day, said, “What I loved was just seeing so many happy faces, and seeing people have such enjoyment, it’s great!
Thank you to all those who helped put on the event!
