On Saturday, 13 June, Bristol Cathedral is offering singers of all abilities an opportunity to join in with singing choral evensong and experience the beauty and tradition of Anglican choral worship whilst singing alongside the magnificent Cathedral organ.

Whether you are a regular choir member, an enthusiastic amateur, or simply enjoy singing sacred music, you are warmly invited to take part. The afternoon begins with a rehearsal led by the Cathedral music team, where participants will learn and prepare the music together.
Participants will then sing in the service of Choral Evensong, leading the congregation in psalms, canticles, and anthem within the Cathedral’s historic setting. Accompanied by the Cathedral’s organ, singers will experience the rich and uplifting sound that lies at the heart of the Anglican choral tradition.
This is a wonderful chance to sing inspiring choral music, meet fellow singers, and enjoy the rare experience of performing with the Cathedral organ in a service of worship. Music will be provided, and the Evensong service will be open to the wider community to attend.
The rehearsal will take place at 13:30 and the service will begin at 17:30.
