With the mayhem of Freshers weeks and fairs kicking off the new HE academic years at UWE and Bristol University, it'd be easy to miss the essential roles of our Anglican Chaplains at the centre of the goings-on.
We took a camera to UWE Fresher's Fair to get an idea of the Chaplaincy network there, finding out how supporting Chaplaincy in the Diocese of Bristol is an essential role of the connected Church.
When I first came here six years ago, I'd say that of all the protected characteristics, Religion & Belief was something of a poor relative, but Im proud to say today that the place of faith at the table at UWE is now really important, and we recognise that for our staff and students it can be a really significant feature of their experience."
