Family Resources
Whether we are young or old it's never too soon or too late to think about creating a rhythm of life. Oftern the lessons we learn as a child are the ones we remember throughout our lives.
"As a young child I read the bible and prayed with my Mum and Dad everh night before sleeping. On Sundays I went to bible classes where I learned about God's faithfulness. Words I learned as a young child - 'Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey' - shaped my life and remain with me to this day." Chris Dobson

For teenagers grappling with what it means to be a Christian in a changing world why not encourage them to use social media as part of creating a rhythm of life? There is a church in the UK which reaches out to young people using social media channels and is currently engaging with over 750,000 young people. It's a safe online space recommended by the Church of England where thousands of young people grapple with the bible, modern day life and faith. It's called 'The Way UK' and you can find them on these channels:

School Resources
The Diocesan Education department is working on a new resource of offering collective worship resources around Rhythms of Life for schools. This is due to be published in time for the new school year in Autumn 2025. It will offer resources that can be used in partnership with local clergy and will tie in with existing healthy patterns and rhythms that schools observe.
In the meantime we have adapted resources from the Diocese of York which can be used to begin a conversation / thinking about how Rhythms of Life can be built into the daily life of our schools:
