Children’s Outreach Worker
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours p/w
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 p.a. depending on experience
Duration: Fixed term contract until 31 December 2028
Location: Southmead, Bristol
St Stephen’s is a growing church with a big heart. We love Southmead and have been a part of the estate since it started. We are a church that wants to grow in faith and serve our community.
We have so many opportunities to work with children that we need someone to come in, build team, organise our efforts and serve the schools. The right person will also be able to contribute to the continued development of our intergenerational worship.
Do you love Jesus and sense a call to connect community and church together, sharing faith and discipling children in schools, church and community? Do you enjoy spending time with children and their families? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
You would:
• Be part of a fantastic small, but growing church serving a tremendously kind community
• Work in a supportive environment alongside a team of people who love Jesus and Southmead
• Build on our good reputation in schools with the flexibility to serve them in appropriate ways and build relationships between the schools, community and church
