Priest in Charge - Abbots Leigh with LeighWoods, Bristol and Chaplain to Cote House Charity (0.8)

Is God calling you to something new?

We are creating a new 0.8 post in the west of Bristol, combining the role of Priest in Charge of Abbots Leigh and Leigh Woods, with Chaplain to the Cote House Charity.

This is an exciting opportunity to continue the revitalisation of the parish churches in these beautiful villages, whilst offering chaplaincy and building deep pastoral and spiritual relationships to the Cote Charity’s purpose-built homes.

The role is 0.5 parish focus and 0.3 chaplaincy.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Enable the ongoing outreach of the churches, to embrace the whole community
  • Continue to grow opportunities for mission, particularly with families, young people and schools
  • Offer spiritual and emotional support to residents, their families and Cote Charity staff, in the role of Chaplain

If you are interested please contact the Archdeacon of Bristol - Becky Waring becky.waring@bristoldiocese.org

Closing date: noon 27 November.

Familiarisation and Interviews: 6 & 7 January 2025
