Governance Support Officer

Hours: Part Time 28 hrs per week

Salary: £31,500 pro rata (pro rata for 0.8, £25,200)

Location: based in our Diocesan Office in Stoke Gifford (North Bristol)

We have a great opportunity to work as part of a busy team, in our bright and spacious office in North Bristol.

The Bristol Diocesan Board of Finance is recruiting a Governance Support Officer to work alongside two colleagues in its Governance Support Team. 

The Governance Support Officer will play a pivotal role in the Governance of Diocese of Bristol by helping to run elections for governing bodies (Synods and Committees), organising the meetings of decision-making bodies (such as Diocesan Synod), and clerk for Bishop’s Council.  

They will also work closely with clergy and parishes to help establish the governance of new churches and or amend governance arrangement for existing parishes.
