Church Buildings Project Manager

Hours:     35 hours per week

Salary:     £40,000 pa

Duration: 18 month Fixed Term Contract with possible extension subject to funding

Location: 1500 Hillside House, Parkway North, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8YU

The role:

Are you a passionate about Church Buildings and an experienced Project Manager, looking for a new challenge?

We have an exciting and highly creative role where you can really make a difference to both our Church and wider communities, get to work with some fantastic people and support our parishes to maintain and better utilise the extraordinary buildings and sites in their care.

Bristol Diocese covers the areas of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire over to Swindon, within which there are 200+ churches, plus a large number of additional sites. This role will be responsible for providing estate guidance and support both in person and by the creation of toolkits for our church sites to help them to identify opportunities for ‘optimising the usage’ of buildings and sites in line with their own social value/ income generation/ financial sustainability ambitions.

Firmly rooted in the delivery of our Transforming Church. Together Strategy, the Church Buildings Project Manager role is crucial in creating a sustainable future for our parishes and we are looking for a special person, who can take ownership of this really important role and in return we offer a salary of £40,000, hybrid working, flexi leave, and salary sacrifice schemes.
