The Diocese of Bristol is committed to promoting a safer church environment within our parishes and communities for everyone, including those who are survivors of abuse.
Our Safeguarding Team provides effective safeguarding training, support, advice and policies so that the well-being of children, young people and vulnerable adults is enhanced and every person has the opportunity to flourish in our church communities.
The Diocese of Bristol has participated in the ongoing independent audit of safeguarding within the Church of England by INEQE. The Bristol audit report is available here: Independent Safeguarding Audit of Bristol Diocesan Board of Finance and Bristol Cathedral
