Travel
The office is very well served by public transport – it is close to Bristol Parkway train station as well as Metrobus and other bus routes. Wherever possible, we encourage you to plan your journey using public transport or lift shares. More information is below.
Travelling by bus
- Metrobus M1: from South Bristol and city centre. Leaves every 10 minutes from Metrobus stops see here. Get off at Great Stoke Way and the office is about four minutes' walk away.
- Number 73 First Great Western bus: travels through Bristol to Parkway Station (and continues on to Cribbs Causeway). From Bristol Parkway you can either walk or get a taxi from the station.
Travelling by train
Hillside House is a 15 minute walk from Bristol Parkway Station. There is a taxi rank at the station.

Travelling by car
- Exit the M32 at Junction 1, heading east along the Ringroad (A4174).
- Take the first left towards Winterbourne (B4058) and after 0.5 miles turn left at the corner, onto the Old Gloucester Rd (B4427).
- Continue to the end of that road, and turn left at the T-junction to join Winterbourne Rd (B4057).
- Take the first left off the next roundabout, down Great Stoke Way following signs for Bristol Parkway.
- Turn right at the next four roundabouts and you will be in Parkway North.
Limited parking is available in bays 28–54. Parking is not available for daytime group events. If attending an event or training workshop please use the Park and Ride car park, a five minute walk up the road.
Accessibility at Hillside House
There are two parking spaces marked for the use of blue badge holders.
The front door is automatic and opens outward. Access to the first floor is via the lift. The accessible toilet is on the ground floor.
We are happy to offer assistance to any visitors to the building who need it, when both arriving and leaving. If you let reception know when you buzz for entry, someone will come down to assist you; alternatively, you can let us know beforehand about any assistance you may need. If you have any particular concerns, please do raise them with whoever you are meeting before your arrival at Hillside House. We will do all we can to ensure that your visit is as comfortable and easy as possible.
