Loaves and Fishes Project, St Pauls, Bristol Project Manager 

We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible to the managing of this project under the authority of the Sister in Charge.  This means ensuring effective delivery of the project by ensuring all activities align with established policies, processes, and procedures. The forward planning of resource needs, volunteer communications, training, and rota oversight, as well as organising social events for volunteers and stakeholders. Provide direct support and maintain accurate records where required, liaise with external support organisations, and ensure the accurate management of project accounts maintaining the values when working with our varied client community. 

The position is for 20 hours each week, requiring three on-site days of 5 hours each week and 5 hours of hybrid working.  The Project is not operational during the Christmas and Easter break, or the month of August, however there is an expectation that the postholder will work flexibly over this period.

Salary: £20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding and delivery in accordance with our project policies, processes, and procedures
  • Management of the Project Administrator
  • Regular meetings with the Sister in Charge to ensure co-ordination, future planning and delivery of the communications plan
  • Forward planning of resource requirements
  • Forward planning of volunteer communications, training and rota oversight
  • Organisation of social events for volunteers and stakeholders
  • Provision of client support, maintaining client records (where necessary) and connecting with support organisations
  • Maintaining accounts
